STCC Round 1 – Eastbourne

 

We headed down to nearly Sunny Eastbourne for the first round of the 2009 STCC championship on Saturday.

After completing a practice round there a couple of weeks prior, there wasn’t much that I had to change setup wise, so instead chose to make sure everything on the car was set up and in good working order.

On race day, I made one change to use 1 degree of outboard toe on the rear of the car, instead of inboard toe.  This helped to settle the car and I managed 21 laps, which was 3 more than last year on the same track :)

I ended up 9th after the three legs of the finals, so am currently 9th overall in the Championship table
