The time has come

With the smoking ban in full swing and the way I feel most mornings when I wake up, it's time to quit ...
I've signed up for a big bike ride in September which is 140kms around Kent, so hopefully this will give me the motivation to kick the habit and do some good training between now and then.

Almost there

I went to Sevenoaks yesterday to try out the new 19 Turn motor and the thing FLEW !!! It was keeping up with a 7 Turn modified motor for acceleration, I'm not anywhere near as good a driver as the guy with the Mod motor (Vince) so he was 1/2 lap ahead of me at least by the end, but I was happy that our two cars were the only one making that growling noise down the back straight

When I got home I set about packing up my bike. I couldn't get the wheels in the new dhb box I bought, no matter which way I had the damn things.

I left it at that for Sunday and came home from work on Monday night determined to get the wheels in the box. After a few attempts I decided to take the water bottle out of the cage (although this was advised by most of the articles I'd read). Lo and behold, the wheels now both fit !

I'm chuffed to bits :)
