Sunday Racing at it's best

Popped along to the Clubman's meeting at www.maritimeraceway.co.uk today and had a blast, even though I'd been up late to watch the boxing the night before !! (no sleep for ~36 hours)

When I arrived, I was pleased to see a bunch of lads from Sidcup there, all ready to get going in Modified !

We had Terry turn up with his 12th as well though :)

Myself, Alex (putting in a wheel performance while his thumb is on holiday), Charlie, Jordan, Marlon, Vince all doing mod

Pete and Ben doing pro stock.

I was nowhere even close on setup in the first practice session, so had to work on it during the day, and almost got there after changing tyres to Sorex 28 instead of 32's  Thanks to Phil and Des for the setup tips.

Charlie TQ'd mod with 23 laps (the only person to get 23).  It was great to see him having a good result for a change ! Long may it continue !
Alex and myself and Jordan all on 22, so the final was going to be good.

Alex and Jordan tore away at the start and were never seen again, although I tried my damnest to catch them, even getting the car on two wheels round a few corners !
