Sidcup Round 7

Tonight was quite a quiet night, with a lot of people taking advantage of the sunny weather so the turnout wasn't as high as normal.

Jordan, Charlie and Terry were all there though, so it wasn't going to be a 'night off' for any of us :)

Practice: Car was terrible, but I trust the setup on it to work when the grip comes up, so I pulled it off and left it.
Heat 1: Car wasn't great, but there was a big difference from practice (no changes to the car, just more grip available). Couldn't quite get the chicane right, and ended up tearing the wing off the back of the car. Ended up with 27 laps. Charlie broke a front belt, and didn't have a spare, so I lent him my 007 while I continued to use my 008. This would bite me in the arse later on...
Jordan was on 29, and was looking good. Terry was straight out of the blocks on 30 laps !

Heat 2: Ended up on 30 laps while Charlie had been putting his motor in the 007 and missed this heat. Jordan was also on 30 laps, whilst Terry (who made sure to tell me) was on 31 :)

Heat 3: Terry didn't improve this time, so his 31 laps in 305.330 would stand as his fastest time.
Jordan also couldn't improve this time round, so he was on 30 in 3:23.040

Myself and Charlie did improve however :)
Charlie had the borrowed car ready and set about his business on the track. I was going for it this time to try and qualify high enough to make the A final, but I realised Charlie was too !

Charlie: 31 laps in 303.000
Me: 31 laps in 304.230

This meant that Charlie, myself and Terry had made the A final (in that order), with Jordan starting 3rd in the B final.

In the final we ended up where we started, so points for the night
Charlie 100 <--- now you see why it bit me lending him that car !!!
Myself: 99
Terry: 98

Championship Rounds: Chris 3: Charlie 4

Now that's 7 rounds done, so if we stopped here I'd win the title :)
However, there's 10 rounds and you drop the worst three scores for the season.
This means that looking at our best 5 rounds (Terry's done 5 rounds)
Charlie is 1 point ahead of myself and Terry who are tied on 496
