New Track

9th Feb: Went to sidcup with the new T2R.
Was going well, was setup as per the kit with an 8.2 ratio.
Qualified well through round1 and 2 from the heats, but then crashed in heat 3. Broke the Steering Arm, Diff Blade and C-Hub from the right hand side.Ordered Alu parts as replacements, but also have composite ones just in case.

Found I had a faulty transmitter which caused the crash. spoke to Biggin hill about it (where I got it from) and they weren't much help. Guy on the phone had an attitude and said"well there's a reason you didn't come back to us isn't there"Got a feeling he's gonna close down and he's pissed about it.Certainly won't be getting any more of my hard-earned.Fuck him if he thinks he can treat customers like that. The radio was 2 weeks old ! to the day !!!Will order faskolor paints online if I can't get them anywhere else close by.

16th Feb: Went down to spec racing and took the car with me. Ian looked over it and gave me a list of changes to make:

  1. Shock Pistons (3 hole, drilled to 1.2mm)
  2. Shocks more upright, front and back.
  3. Change oil to 40wt from 30Remove two screws from top deck at front.
  4. Remove two screws from top deck at back .

25th Feb: Took the car back to Sidcup.Went out to practice and found that the body pin was stuck in the motor. This burned the motor quite badly. Still ran it for the rest of the meet, but the car felt really slow at some points. No breakages this time, and I'm starting to learn how to "drive rather than point" with some nice smooth cornering and braking.I got into the 'F' final and ended up winning it by a lap or two.

26th Feb: Took the motor out and went through it, it's really badly burned Ended up getting a Team Almighty one from Spec racing instead. Have put it in the car, we'll see how we get on.
